Building emergency care
at the last kilometer
since 2002.

I am an emergency physician, founder, and independent director. For twenty-four years I have led PACE MD Global Health, training more than 55,000 providers across the Americas. For fourteen years I served as Founding Chief Medical Officer of Lyric Health, a national telemedicine platform. I am a Fellow of IFEM, ACEP, and AAEM, an Ashoka Fellow, and the recipient of the IFEM Humanitarian Award.

Three careers, one mission.

My work has lived at the intersection of three fields that are usually kept apart — clinical emergency medicine, global health systems building, and commercial digital-health leadership. The through-line has always been the same: making excellent emergency care available to the people who need it most.

Global health

First national American Heart Association training center in the region. First public-access defibrillator program in Latin America. Seven Latin American nations facilitated into IFEM.

Digital health

Fourteen years as Founding Chief Medical Officer of Lyric Health (formerly MyTelemedicine) — leading clinical operations, regulatory strategy, and platform development from startup through national scale and corporate transformation. Built the associated professional physician group, Access Dr.

Governance & standards

How I work with organizations.

I take on a small, curated set of engagements each year — where I can bring the combination of clinical judgment, commercial operator experience, and global-health systems literacy that is otherwise hard to source in a single voice.
